Description
A Prompt Engineer designs, develops, and refines effective prompts to optimize outputs from large language models and generative AI tools, ensuring high-quality, contextually relevant, and efficient AI responses.
Responsibilities
- Create and test prompts for different use cases and industries.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to fine-tune and optimize model performance.
- Analyze AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, and tone.
- Document prompt frameworks, guidelines, and best practices.
- Research and stay updated with the latest trends in prompt engineering and generative AI
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, AI, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with LLMs like GPT or similar
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with APIs, AI tools, or scripting for prompt automation (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with AI prompts, LLMs, or related AI applications
